Apparently, if you have a blog you are supposed to update it every now and then. Or so I’m told. So here’s what’s been happening with us in the past three months.
During the winter, we don’t do much RVing but we did manage to squeeze a couple of trips in. Both were visits to our grandmothers - one who lives in Roseburg, Ore. and the other who lives in Lebanon, Ore. They weren’t exactly camping trips full of hiking, fishing and enjoying nature, but we had a good time visiting with family and getting the trailer out for a couple of runs.
Last year, money was tight and we didn’t get in as many camping trips as I would have liked. But with 2010 off to a good start for us, we’re hoping things will be different this year. We’ve already got plans for two trips - one to Sand Lake and another to Winchester Bay. Where I’d really like to go sometime this year is northern California, where I grew up. We’ll see if we can make that happen.
