We once had a truck… and we once had a tent… but never did we have a tent on a truck (isn’t the awning a nice touch?).
Head on over to the Smoke and Sleeping Bags blog to see some folks putting this type of setup to use. They’ve also got a review of Beverly Beach State Park, which is located on the Oregon coast.
While this is cool and all, Scott and I won’t be moving into a tent on a truck. We’re still scoping out motorhomes in our quest to find the one. Honestly, this is as stressful as when we went house shopping 10 years ago.

I read your post on the open roads forum. we too are looking at going full time in about a year. Had the first garage sale and the house is currently on the market. We are looking at Class A mhs and also like the
windsport 36e. so did you buy it yet? what have you decieded? what did you hear from others? please let me know. big deciesion, hard deciesion.
