It sure is great to be able to hop in your car on any given afternoon and head into the Columbia River Gorge… where you can find beauty and serenity just a short drive away from Portland. According to the Friends of Vista House website, this is the most photographed icon in the Gorge and I can certainly believe it. Even on a cold and cloudy day, it was absolutely stunning. In fact, I heard someone say as they were packing into their car to go - ‘I don’t want to leave… it’s so gorgeous.’
